Water Tracker Printable
It’s no secret that we need to drink enough water. However, even though we know we need to drink enough water – it can still be a struggle to do so.
This printable water tracker was created because I know just how hard it can be to stay on track with drinking the right amount of water.
I can get busy with things, completely lose track of time, and forget to drink enough water. For whatever reason though – remembering to sip on my coffee throughout the day is no problem for me. 🙂
That’s why I use a printable water tracker. It puts staying hydrated at the forefront of my mind.
Benefits Of Drinking Enough Water:
There are so many awesome benefits that come along with being properly hydrated:
- Increase your energy.
- Flush out toxins.
- Improve your complexion and skin.
- Help to promote weight loss.
- And SO much more!
Stay Properly Hydrated Using A Daily Water Tracker Printable
A great way to start accomplishing your hydration goals is by tracking your water intake. Another fun way to jumpstart these goals is by doing a water challenge.
There are 2 water challenges I’ve found that can really help get hydration habits started. The free printable water tracker pdf I created that’s in this post will work great for these challenges!
1. The 7-Day Hydration Challenge
Every day for 7 days drink a minimum of half your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 150 pounds, your goal would be to drink 75 ounces of water minimum each day.
2. The 30 Day Water Challenge
The 30 day water challenge is similar to the 7-day hydration challenge except the challenge is for a longer time. Instead of drinking a specific amount of water for 7 days, you’ll drink a specific amount of water for 30 days.
Keep in mind with these water challenges – pre-flavored water (ex: La Croix, Bubbly, Perrier, etc) does not count toward your daily intake goal.
You can still enjoy these bubbly beverages throughout the days of the challenge. The ounces of these drinks just won’t count toward your hydration goals.
Water Tracker and Hydration Tips
There are 4 things you can do to make tracking and consuming enough water a bit easier:
#1 – Ask a friend to do a hydration challenge or start tracking water intake with you. Having company and accountability for any sort of challenge is helpful and fun.
#2 – Set an alert on your phone each hour to remind you to drink. Time can go by quickly throughout the day, especially if you’re super busy and always on the go. Set a time to go off on your phone every hour. This will help create the habit of drinking consistently.
#3 – Get a refillable water bottle to use. Using a refillable water bottle has been life-changing for me. These water bottles help to keep me on top of my hydration.
#4 – Flavor your water with fruits, veggies, and herbs.
There are so many great recipes you can find on Pinterest for flavoring your water.
Some of my favorite combos are:
- Water with sliced lemon and oranges.
- Strawberry and kiwi water.
- Water with cucumber and mint.
Try a few recipes and see which ones you like the best!

How To Use Your Water Tracker Printable
There are 31 days on this printable water tracker. So, whether you choose to use the printable for a challenge or to track your water intake regularly this will work for you.
Set a Daily Water Intake Goal
Decide how many ounces of water you want to consume each day. Having a goal is super important. Without one, you’ll just be guessing how much water you should drink.
Decide How Many Ounces of Water for Each Droplet
Depending on your water intake goals, the water droplets will be worth a different amount of water. Decide what that number is for you.
Fill In Water Tracker Droplets
Throughout the day, fill in a water droplet each time you drink that amount of water.
If you’re using a refillable water bottle and know how many ounces are in your bottle, you can mark off the appropriate number of droplets each time you finish your water bottle.
