Here are a couple different examples of easy crescent moon drawing ideas. One is simply the drawing of a crescent moon and the other is a crescent moon that I colored in.

This is a step by step guide on how to draw a crescent moon.
Drawing a crescent moon using a circle is simpler than you might think.
- Start by sketching a circle, or you can use the bottom of a dixie cup to trace a circle. This circle will serve as the foundation for your moon.
- Draw a curved line within the circle either to the left of the right.
- Erase a small section of the circle’s upper or lower half to create the crescent shape.
- Retrace the crescent moon in your pencil or a marker and shade it to make it more defined.
And voila – you now have an easy crescent moon drawing!
2. Easy Full Moon Drawing
This is an easy full moon drawing that I did by creating a circle and adding distorted circle shapes within it to represent the craters.
